Support & Care for Your
Trekkado Gear

Everything you need to set up, use, and care for your Trekkado gear — simply and clearly

Setup & Use

Using the Sleeping Pad Straps

Your sleeping bag includes loops for attaching the provided straps. These straps help anchor the bag to a sleeping pad and reduce sliding through the night.

Gliding Setup

Quick & simple — secure enough for flat terrain.

• Thread each strap through the loops on the bag.
• Pass the strap underneath your sleeping pad.
• Buckle and adjust as needed.

Fixed Setup

Best for steeper terrain. Avoid overtightening, as it can stress the loops.

• Thread one end through the first loop.
• Pass it under the pad and through the second loop.
• Pass it back under and buckle.

Zipper Tips

Zippers can snag if pulled too quickly or at an angle. Trekkado uses smooth-glide resin zippers with anti-snag guards, but care still matters. Zip slowly and gently, especially around curves.

Creating a Double Sleeping Bag

Want to share the warmth? Two identical Trekkado bags can be zipped together.

• Fully unzip both bags.
• Lay one on top of the other (liners facing in).
• Zip them together along both sides for a cozy double setup.

Care & Storage

Simple care helps your sleeping bag stay comfortable, functional,
and ready for your next trip.

After Each Trip

• Open and air out.
• Spot clean with a damp cloth.
• Hang to fully dry before storing.

Long-Term Storage

• Do not store compressed.
• Use the provided mesh sack or hang loosely.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Compression is fine for travel — not for long-term storage.

Washing

• Machine wash cold (gentle cycle).
• Use mild detergent (no bleach or softeners).
• Zip all zippers and turn the bag inside out.
• Wash alone or with synthetic fabrics.

Drying

• Tumble dry low with dryer balls to restore loft.
• Or lay flat to dry in shade.
• Do not hang fully wet — use hang loops only when partially dry.
• Do not iron or dry-clean.

Compression Sack & Mesh Sack

Compression Sack Care

• Wipe with a damp cloth only.
• Do not machine wash or dry.
• Don’t overtighten — compression sacks are tough but not invincible.

Mesh Sack Care

• Washable if needed.
• Air dry only.

Packing Your Bag

1. Fold your sleeping bag lengthwise in half.
2. Roll tightly from the foot end.
3. Stuff it into the compression sack.
4. Use the external straps and buckles to lightly compress.

If space isn’t critical and you want to pack more quickly, use the mesh sack instead.

Temperature Ratings

Trekkado sleeping bags are rated to help you choose appropriate conditions —
not to push limits.

Comfort — 10°C / 50°F

You’ll feel cozy at this temperature in standard sleepwear, with typical use on a sleeping pad.

Extreme — 0°C / 32°F

This is a survival rating, not intended for comfort. Use extra layers and caution in these conditions.

Built for real-world comfort — not edge-case extremes.
